this piece serves as the juxtaposition to “look-1”, using the rapture as inspiration once again, but this time through the lens of the wicked left on earth. not only is there a severe visual contrast between “the good” and “the bad” throughout these looks, but cottonsmith itself serves as an open book, a diary of sorts that shows the journey of becoming good from bad at something. cottonsmith is a scoff at the facade of perfection both within the work and within ourselves.

there are over one thousand pieces of yarn sewn into this hoodie, each one done by hand in house taking over 50 hours. the main fabric is 480gsm loopback cotton knitted and dyed in Leicester, UK. The yarn is 100% recycled cotton also made in the uk. the hoodie features the signature adjustable cinch cuffs and waistband made possible using cotton rope made from yarn in house.
